What it does

A headless TypeScript runtime for spreadsheet-style models, used from Node.js services, tests and AI agents. It sets inputs, recalculates formulas, reads the outputs and saves the workbook as JSON, then checks the results after a restore. It runs without Excel or a browser and does not aim for full Excel compatibility.

Use cases

  1. 01Recalculate a budget model when the inputs change
  2. 02Save a workbook model as JSON and restore it later
  3. 03Check that formula results still match after an edit
