What it does

RIPER is a development workflow for Claude Code built on custom slash commands and subagents. It separates work into Research, Innovate, Plan, Execute and Review phases, so implementation does not start before the problem is understood. It also keeps a branch-aware memory bank of plans and decisions.

Use cases

  1. 01Research a codebase before changing it
  2. 02Write and review a plan before any code is edited
  3. 03Keep a record of decisions for each branch
