What it does
Runs two SQL queries against the same MySQL database and compares their results. The example builds two payment summaries for different periods, then a Compare Datasets step sorts the rows into four outputs: only in A, only in B, the same in both, and different between the two. It uses the MySQL sample database.
Use cases
- 01Find orders that appear in one period but not another
- 02Spot rows where a total differs between two reports
- 03Check a new report against the one it replaces
