What it does
This n8n template sends text to a local Kokoro text-to-speech model and saves the result as an MP3 file. n8n runs a small Python script with the text and output path, which requires a self-hosted instance because it executes local commands. Kokoro runs on the computer itself, without a cloud speech service.
Use cases
- 01Turn a script into a voice-over file
- 02Generate narration for a product demo video
- 03Create audio versions of blog articles
