What it does

Endor runs services such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and Valkey as preconfigured apps inside isolated, short-lived virtual machines. Each service exposes only its application ports, and when you exit with Ctrl+C nothing is left on your system. An MCP mode lets AI agents start these services when they need a database or a key-value store.

Use cases

  1. 01Start a MariaDB instance for a test run
  2. 02Give an agent a temporary Redis server
  3. 03Try a Postgres setup without installing it
