What it does

An MCP server that connects an AI assistant to a Zotero library. It searches the library by keyword or by meaning, returns passages from PDFs with their page numbers, and creates citations and bibliographies in CSL styles. It can also add items from a DOI, work with group libraries, and write changes back to the library, including PDF annotations.
