What it does

A file-based handoff protocol that lets Claude Code and Codex agents work together in one project. They exchange messages through append-only files, with one stream for each direction and leases that prevent clashes. It needs no server or background process. Each agent wakes on a timer, reads its unread messages, and exits.

Use cases

  1. 01Passing a coding task from one agent to another
  2. 02Running two agents on one repository without a server
  3. 03Keeping a shared log of agent messages
